Dodge Viper GTS is a high performance two door sports car first manufactured in 1996 until 2002.
The body of the Viper GTS is made of aluminum and the roof is made of glass and the Viper GTS was built based on Viper RT/10. The modifications in the Viper GTS compared to Viper RT/10 are, it featured a new exhaust system, and aluminum suspensions, light weight engine, cylinder heads and it delivered an output power of 450 bhp.
The Viper GTS featured a lightweight V10 engine with a capacity of 7990 cc. The engine featured Electronic Fuel Ignition, two cylinders, bore measures 101.6 mm and the stroke measures 98.5 mm and delivered high performance.
The engine delivered an output power of 450 bhp at 5200 rpm and 490 lb-ft torque at 3700 rpm. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and the top speed is about 185 mph. The Viper GTS featured six speed manual transmission and the gear shifts can be performed easily at higher speeds.
The suspension in the Viper GTS are made of aluminum and it featured Double Wishbone suspension with coil springs on the front and rear resulting in smooth and comfort driving. The Viper RT/10 featured 5-spoke alloy wheels with vented disc brakes and aluminum piston calipers that ensured a better braking even at high speeds.
The exteriors featured the door handles, stylish body structure, mirrors, headlights and taillights. The interiors featured the leather seats, CD player, air conditioning system, power windows, sporty steering wheel, air bags and instrument panels.
